Only 3 percent of Oklahoma high school students can pass naturalization civics test

Interesting. I’ve never had a client fail a civics test at a naturalization interview. Some of them passed the test without benefit of any education past elementary school.

I think there are two issues here:

1. Immigrants are more appreciative of the American experience than those who were born here.
2. Our education system keeps thinking more is more rather than less is more. The naturalization civics test is basic.
